The papers are in!

No turning back now, and what a sence of relief I feel. I filed my  letter of intent  for homeschooling. I am a real deal home schooling mom.lol This summer we have been exploring different ways of learning and finding things and scheduals that work for us for the up coming year.  Gathering supplies and resources as well as knowledge on my part.I have seen such an amazing improvement I am blown away. The kids are asking such great questions, so hungry to learn and learn how to find the answers. They are getting along so much better and really acting like my team again. They are really letting their creativity come alive in games and crafts. I am so excited about this year. I am really looking forward to seeing what they do with it. Everyone is reading so much better in just a few short weeks and they seem so much more confident. They are more willing to try things even play with other kids when we're out at places.

We joined a couple of great local home school support groups that are very active and have a lot to offer. Including sports teams and field trips. We have already joined on several of the social field trips and have been very pleased. I think we found our click. LOL  The kids under stand each other and play so well. They share and have manner. Not all of course but the ones that do seek each other out and tend to stay away from the ones that do not. Unlike how it is in the scool setting often times. Bri  has began to talk to at the counter and order something she wants. THIS is so HUGE!!! lol  She would go with out the best candy in the world. Suffer the worst pain  rather then talk to a stranger when asked a question. But now she will tell them what she wants most times. She has even bought a gallon of milk alone at the little shop here with me just standing at the door. She counts the change to make sure it is correct and even says thank you to the clerk. All very huge for her. I feel like things might just be coming together. I will keep you posted. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers. If your so inclined.
