Sick fur baby

Well as some of you might have noticed I haven't been on much in the last few days, my little Polly has been sick. It's totally my fault and I feel just horrible. I had potpourri out, hadn't even thought about it because it's been in the same spot for years, well she ate some and the next thing I know she throwing up over and over again. I figured she got it all out of her system and I gave her some pepto to settle her stomach but the next morning she looked so bad. The docs did xrays and thought she had a blockage so they  operated. Well to make a VERY long story short there was no blockage, her stomach had shut down and was very irritated. She had a hard time coming out of surgery and when I took her home that night I had to get up every hour and check her vitals. It was such a scary weekend but the happy ending is she is totally out of the woods and has started eating a tiny bit today. She went for her recheck this morning and the doc said she would be fine she just needs a little more down time before she is her bouncey self again. YEAH!!
