Positively Great!

The power of positive thinking...How many of you want to stop reading now? LOL! Doesn't everyone talk about the power of positive thinking?  And immediately your brain turns off and you think, Not this again...

I was talking about this last night with a very well respected business woman. I have always been a believer in the power of positive thinking, but I have never had the stomach to listen to others speak about it. Is anyone with me here? Am I alone in my distaste for people ranting about this subject?

Well today I went in to my real estate office and was speaking with women whom I had not chatted with before. They were commenting on my positive attitude and my ability to do a lot during the day. Suddenly, without warning or thought, out of my own mouth comes, Well, I wake up each morning and feel as though I have a choice. I can either greet each day as a great gift and choose to do something wonderful or I can drudge through yet another day. WHAT? That came from me? It was truly how I felt - then came this, I believe you make your life happen. You can do anything you want. You can accomplish anything you desire. All you have to do is do it! Believe it, make it happen. Your life doesn't happen to you, it happens because of you.

There you have it - words from my soul pouring our out of my mouth like diarrhea. And yet they were truthful words. Thank you, my friend, and you know who you are, for making me see the light. I am sorry to have become a positive thinking rambler, but hell, if it's true, it's true! Make your life happen - live it - love it!
