Playing Mommy to All

Well tomorrow is kind of a test.  My b/f has to go to a Memorial Day Ceremony with the rest of his staff and his CO tomorrow night.....but he also has his 4 year-old for the weekend and his 15 year-old has a baseball tournament all weekend.  Then add to all of this, his mom is coming for breakfast tomorrow because it is her birthday, and his parents are coming for dinner on Sunday because they want to celebrate the 4 year-old's birthday.  And then I have Zack this weekend.

So today I picked up Zack from school and took him riding on his bike and we had some great one-on-one time tonight.

Tomorrow we have to be at b/f's house at 0930 for breakfast.  Then I get to watch both of the 4 year-olds and take the 15 year-old to his game and then pick him up.  I would stay to watch, but it is supposed to rain and I am not sitting out in the rain with two toddlers.  Not especially since Zack just got over being sick. 

He hasn't said as much, but I know this is the beginning of a "testing phase" to see how well I will handle "step" parenting if we decide to move in together.

On that note...(a little off subject but oh well)...he isn't too sure if the promotion will go through this year.  In order for him to get promoted this year the Marine Corps will have to open up the date of rank by 14 months and odds are it isn't going to happen.  We will all be happy if it does, but again, we are looking at probability and trying to be realistic.  So that means he probably won't get orders to move until March 2010. 

So this extra time for him here gives us time to figure out where "we" are at....and gives me more time to get a handle on my relationship with the 15 year-old.

All I can say is this:  I will have ripped out every single one of the hairs on my head by the time Monday evening rolls around....wish me luck and pray I'm not bald by the end of the weekend..HAHA
