Out with the girls

Yesterday I stopped after work for a drink with some of the women I work with. This might not sound like a big deal to most of you but for me it was. I NEVER do that, it's always  work then straight home and get dinner going. I don't know what finally made me join in but I highly recommend it!! My hubby didn't seem to thrilled when he called and I told him where I was but, he got over it without saying anything negitive and I had a ball. It was so nice to unwind and just chat with some women. I've been working at the same place for 7 years and this was the first time I did this, and believe me I will be doing it a lot more!! Since moving up here I've focused solely on my hubby and my kids and I forgot what it was like to have my own things to do. I think when you get married and have kids you loose a little of yourself and now that the kids are grown and doing their own thing I figure it's my time again. Now don't get me wrong I'm not some big partier but a drink after work is just what the doctor ordered LOL!!
