Metro boy, TH gets a cut, and my crazy day!

Has anyone seen our Thought of the Day today on the homepage? Does anyone ever look at it? LOL! My son gave me today's - he's very metro, and only 7  :-)

Today I have sooo much on my plate - My house looks like someone gobbled it up and then barfed it out, my son's bday party is tonight - granted there is only one child coming (his choice, I'm not a mean mommy - the whole class could come for all I care), but I want the house clean, so I have to clean it b/c dh is at work from 7-5 today (sucky!).

I have to make a 4 layer colors and colors cake - which I LOVE doing - I'll bake whatever the kids want on their birthday (maybe I do this anyway - we made homemade brownies last night and then gave away all but two for each of the boys).

Then we are going to dinner, to pet puppies (no worries, I'm NOT petting them, so I won't bring one home!), carving pumpkins, and going to a golf range if I can find one!

So what do I do this morning when I should be racing around? I decide to cut three inches off of my hair - Yes, it's probably crooked, but with tons of curly hair that doesn't matter much :-) It was a good diversion from my rattled day, but really, now I feel bald (trust me, I'm no where NEAR bald), but I feel it. My hair is soooo light. But the worst thing is that it didn't make me look a supermodel! Can you believe that? I thought for sure a shorter haircut would make me look totally made over - like I'd flip my head and voila! my hair would be shiny and straight and I would even be 10 lbs lighter! Nope...Same old hair, same old looks, and the same crazy day lay ahead!
