Hubby's Home - What Happened to My Schedule??

I was blessed today with my hubster being home from work. Some of my favorite days are spent with him home from work and the children at school. We love to knock around stores and pitz putz around the house. We can do nothing and have a wonderful time. But do you ever have those days when you  have your own stuff to get done?

I have those days. Usually when my hubby is home it is not planned. It is a spur of the moment because of whatever he decides is a good reason for hm to be here. This morning he is not feeling well. It's true, he is sick. But I find myself really pulled - He's a great guy, and always tells me to do my own thing and get my stuff done, but when he's here, I really want to hang with him. But what usually happens is that I have 12 other things to do that day and so I hang with him for a bit - as his day off he is usually studying or resting - today he's reading and sleeping b/c he's not feeling well - and he would really like me to just stay next to him and read or do my work there....

I have issues doing work in a bed, where he is..So I find myself running up to my office, doing a few minutes of work, and running back down. There is no guilt placed on me except my own - no deadlines that are official, except the ones placed by me - but still I feel this pull to get my work done in a timely fashion and my heart still wants me to be with him every second before the kids come home.
