County Fair is done for another year,

We went to the Fair Grounds and picked up our items we entered last week. Did not do to bad could have been better but considering i did it all at the last min.

Preserved Food:    Pickled Asparagas Bread and Butter 1st place, Cherry Jelly 2nd place, Apricot Pineapple Jam 3rd place ,because i had to much head space, Apple Chutney 2nd place,  White Grape Juice nothing , all i had was 1/2 gal jar so was disquilified, and Pickled Green Beans nothing.                                                     Textiles:  Stamped Cross Stich Dresser scarf,  1st place, Crochet Dollie under 12"   1st place and Crochet Name Fillet 1st place.       My son also put things in he got 2 2nds and 3 special awards Participation.  This was his first time. Now we start for next year.

Has anyone else done this??  If so how did you do or what do you?  Mary Ann
