Another day

Today is Sunday. We have had an eventful week at my house. My step-son Cody spent the week with us while his mom and step-dad went out of town. He is a great help to me. He loves helping cook and helping put away dishes. He doesn't seem to mind doing some chores for me.

This past Thursday morning I was leaving for work at 5:25 am when I missed the bottom step off my porch and rolled my ankle. I almost thought that I broke it. That would have been bad. I have never had a broken bone and wasn't ready to start now. lol.

On Friday, I went with my daughter and her husband to see her ultrasound. We found out that she is having a girl. I'm soooo happy. Not because it's a girl, but because they said that she is healthy.

Today, my husband and I are taking Cody back to his mom. I'm sure he missed her. But he doesn't seem to be in a hurry. I don't know if I feel glad because he like hang out with his dad and me. Or sad because he's not in a hurry to see his mom.
