Although I am Little

Although I am little

I do declare

That I have a voice

I’d like to share

I may start to scream

Or even yell

But I have a

Point

I’d like to tell

I may start to run,

Jump or leap

I may flap or clap

To my own special beat

Although I am little

I do declare

I have a voice

Hidden in here

I love to hug, smile

And sing

Although you can’t see

I need to do all

Of these things

I need my numbers, letters

And routine

So please

Don’t take them

Away from me

I have my brothers, sister,

And friends

Although I get them confused

Who’s on which end.

My hat and gloves

Are a must

Without them

I just  begin to fuss

No long sleeves

No rough pants

They cause a sensation

I’d rather not chance

Although I am little

I do Declare

I have a voice

I’d like to share

You may not always

Understand me

Nor I understand you

But just try

To remember

I am little

And have a voice too!
